"The vibe of the hotel was absolutely what we were looking for. I booked this hotel to celebrate my husbands surprise 50th birthday. Not over crowded away from the city. Staff was so polite, kind and respectful. Breakfast was great. Choice of hot food was great. We had a birthday meal at the hotel too and again choice of food was fantastic. All the dishes that we ordered were lovely. We had reserved the private room for the evening and we had a member of staff dedicated to wait on us all...

"I loved The Fort, it had enough amenities to match its style, what a beautiful property, if you love history you will love the Fort, the staff are lovely, so friendly, so helpful, the surrounding shops are full of lovely people too. The 4 poster bed I had was the most comfortable bed I ever slept in, they don't make them like that anymore. The food was so tasty too, Im going to go back thats for sure! Excellent value for money too, i thought they were joking when I got my bill :D "
